Sometimes it does pay to get out of bed.

Today at work I decided to give kinokuniya a call about the book I wanted. The book actually it wouldn’t be even available until August 2009 on Amazon but for some strange reason Kinokuniya has it already!

Anyway when I made the call they informed me that the book was indeed available BUT (there is always a but) that copy they had was actually a special order for another customer. Can you believe how far my psyche dropped? I then asked them to check if they had another copy or if they could place an order for me. The lady on the phone said she would call me back to let me know.

So a few hours later I get the call……..they had another copy! I immediately booked it and told them I would come down after work to grab it!

Soon after work I made my way there and bought the book! It’s Beautiful! T_T The best part about this photobook is it includes location details of where it was taken. WORTH MY MONEY!

Here are some shots:

While were reviewing books, here are some of the other books I bought from kinokuniya the other day. The Special Megumi super deluxe special edition! Which seems to be a collection of their best work shown over the past few years. This is a great book for those who don’t often get megumi deluxe magazines but if you do, I don’t see much reason to get this as this is basically a rerun I guess.

Here are some shots of it!

Oh yeah I forgot to mention, that this magazine also has one of the regular poster included with every megumi deluxe. That pics of Fate on the side is it.

Overall these books are worth all every cent!

For those who also bought copies of these book/magazine, please let me know what you think.

  1. I was considering getting the Super Deluxe magazine but it doesn’t look like it has any fold-out posters which is mainly why I get Megami Magazine.

  2. Actually it does include it! I just forgot to mentioned as I figure it was obvious from the pictures, notice the pic of fate and nanoha?
