There are many good things when shooting wedding photography. You’re in charge of capturing the happiness, the joy and most of the union of 2 people who want to spend the rest of their lives together.
For a photographer though this type of shooting are the true test of your skills, it’s either a hit or miss. Do or don’t do, there is no try. I’ll be bleeding honest, I stink at wedding photography! Especially the fact when I have to sit at the head table! Though that doesn’t stop me and my D700 😛

So here are a few shots I managed to take while “seated” at the table.

My Sister Janice
My parents
The chocolate before me.
And the groom and bride.
Okay, I wish I had a longer lens at the time (no I couldn’t pack my sigma70-200 with me as it was too BIG!) hence I could only get such short range shots. I wanted to take pics of Carine’s family but my lens was too short and that we weren’t permitted to move around? Who made that stupid law?! I don’t know.
Anyway, these are not photos straight out of the cam. The color originally was terrible! I wish I had brought my S5 pro instead which would have nailed the color perfectly! But a last, poor judgement; nevertheless I made do.
So until then, pleasant dreams
